Joan Krause

Joan Krause is a life-long Lutheran who faithfully attends Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dallas. After learning how a relative had worked with Legacy Deo to leave a charitable gift through her estate plan, Joan contacted us to do the same for her. We listened as she expressed her desire to leave outright and perpetual gifts to a number of her favorite Christian charities and ministries. She then shared her inventory of assets with us. In consultation with her attorney, we helped Joan craft an estate plan of her own. Using a combination of bequests, beneficiary designations, existing endowments, and testamentary endowments, Joan's unique plan reflects her charitable intent clearly and beautifully.

Choosing among several gifting options was far easier than she anticipated. She says, "Now I can rest easy, knowing that my wishes are well-documented and that several charities and ministries will benefit once I am called to my eternal home."
